Juma Al Majid Centre Holds Workshop on Social Media Platforms

Last Saturday, the Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture and Heritage in Dubai held a training workshop entitled ‘Security and Privacy on Online Communication Platforms’. It was delivered by Sami A Nour, an information security expert and international trainer accredited by the British Academy for Human Resources Development, in cooperation with Markad Publishing and Media. The workshop attracted 42 participants from public and private institutions. It aimed to raise information security awareness and teach the public how to protect their privacy from online risks. Sami A Nour began with an introduction to information security and cyber risks, explained the key concepts and terms in detail, and outlined users’ rights to digital security and privacy.
